Public Exhibit of Uncle Jeff's Art A public exhibit of Uncle Jeff’s pottery is on display from May 1-31, 2016. The exhibition is at the Quince Orchard branch of the Montgomery County (MD) Public Library, located at 15831 Quince Orchard Rd, North Potomac, MD 20878. The display is in the case to the right as you enter the library. A larger exhibit will be on display later in the year. November 11, 2015

Uncle Jeff Enterprises is proud to donate two pieces of pottery to the SEEC fund-raising gala, “Dancing for SEEC Stars”. The gala is an annual event to raise funds for SEEC, a nonprofit agency providing individualized, community-based supports to more than 200 people with developmental disabilities to help them live lives of their choosing.
Uncle Jeff’s pottery will be part of the silent auction. All proceeds go directly to SEEC.

Happy April 1 – no foolin’! The show of Uncle Jeff’s work at the Germantown library during March was a successful one. The next public display of his work is now scheduled for July. Details to follow on Facebook and the Uncle Jeff website, in the coming months.

Once again, Uncle Jeff had been invited to display his pottery to the public. For the entire month of March, there will be a show of his work at the Germantown Branch of the Montgomery County (MD) library. The address is 19840 Century Blvd, Germantown, MD 20874.
If you are in or near Germantown, please stop by to view this unique display of functional and decorative art. The exhibit is free and open to the public during normal library hours from March 1 to March 31.

Every year on his birthday, April 11, the Ratnofsky family makes a contribution to the “Jeffrey Ratnofsky Fund” at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, a restricted fund for the Neurobehavioral Clinic. Jeff received caring and thoughtful support from the Clinic in 1998 that allowed him to control his behavior and begin a productive adulthood and to attain his current successes.
It important to assist others like Jeff by supporting the work done by the Clinic. If you would like to contribute to the Jeffrey Ratnofsky Fund and support the work of the Neurobehavioral Unit, you can send a contribution to:

Happy New Year to all. I am happy to tell you about two new things.
First, I am an uncle again! My newest nephew, Jett Page Ratnofsky, was born in North Carolina on December 28.
Second, I have recently completed some new pottery that is now available. You can see these items (the new pottery, not Jett) on the New Pieces page on this wesbite.

People have asked about ordering pieces of art from our inventory of work that has already been completed. They wanted to receive the pieces to give as Holiday gifts and did not want to wait the 6 to 8 weeks needed for a commissioned, custom piece.
To help with that, we now offer a page on this web site of highlighted pieces of available art on a first-come, first-served basis.

Uncle Jeff Enterprises has recently been commissioned to produce pottery for individual customers. I am delighted by the compliment and happy to see that there is a market for these individualized pieces. If you are interested in commissioning a custom-made piece of art, please see the process I have listed:
1. Send me an e-mail at [email protected] or go to the Contact Us page on this website.
2. Describe as fully as possible what you would like: design, size, color, etc. For ideas, you way wish to go to the Sample Pottery page on this website using the tab on the left.
3. When I receive your request, I will e-mail you back letting you know approximately when I can have it made and ready for you (usually 6 to 8 weeks) and the price. If you agree to have me begin, please confirm by return e-mail.
4. After the piece is made, I will send you a picture of it and you can decide if you want to complete the purchase. If it is not what you wanted, you are under no obligation to buy it. I will also let you know what it costs to ship the piece to you, if that is how you want it delivered, and that shipping cost will be added to the price.
5. After you receive the piece you can mail a check (made out to Jeffrey Ratnofsky) or cash to the address we will provide.

I will be exhibiting in SEEC’s 7th Annual Holiday Gift Boutique featuring nearly 20 vendors offering a wide range of unique gifts for everyone on your list. This show is open to the public and there is no admission fee. Exhibitors like me will donate a portion of all our sales to benefit SEEC’s work on behalf of Montgomery County residents who have autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities! This is an opportunity for you to get in some early holiday shopping while supporting a great cause.

I will be exhibiting in SEEC’s 7th Annual Holiday Gift Boutique featuring nearly 20 vendors offering a wide range of unique gifts for everyone on your list. This show is open to the public and there is no admission fee. Exhibitors like me will donate a portion of all our sales to benefit SEEC’s work on behalf of Montgomery County residents who have autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities! This is an opportunity for you to get in some early holiday shopping while supporting a great cause.
